Company registration / tax / social security / retirement fund number?
Depending on where you are, starting and managing a business can either be hard or harder. Combined with Kitikiti HRM's goal to be the glocal HRM (yes we love buzzwords - that's 'global + local' = 'glocal') - we need to figure out how a company in Philippines can keep track of ERNs for Pag IBIG and Philhealth, whereas in Singapore you need to keep your UEN or ACRA Reg. Number handy, and in Malaysia you have a whole lot of No. Majikan-s for EPF, SOCSO and LHDN.
Mmmm... Lotsa alphabets. Fun.
If you'd recall, few months back we released HR policy localization feature for employees in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Philippines. They include:
- Customary leave types e.g Parental Leave for Solo Parent in Philippines
- Customary personal data types e.g IC No. in Malaysia
- Customary pay components e.g SHG deductions in Singapore
You get these HR policy localizations whenever you sign up as a company in any one of the supported countries.
Also, even if you sign up from a totally unsupported country - no worries - we'll never leave you hanging. We provide generic HR policies such as standard leave types (e.g Annual Leave) and also standard pay components (e.g 'Tax'. Wait what, you don't pay taxes? Lucky you!).
We also plan to include localizations for United States, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand soon.
So how does all this tie back? We have augmented our existing HR policy localizations to also support Company Properties!
Company Properties? Well technically it's not about physical properties or assets owned by a company - but the additional details about the company itself. For example, by default Kitikiti HRM allows a company to have the details like:
- Name (duh!)
- Logo (yes our logo still sucks)
And if you have additional things about your company that you want Kitikiti HRM to remember, sweat not - you can now store them in Kitikiti HRM too! That's what Company Properties feature is all about. You'll find it at the end of Company Details:
The above is an example of pre-localized company details for a Malaysian company. We've created the company properties corresponding to the various government / statutory bodies e.g SSM (Registrar of Companies), LHDN (Tax), EPF (Retirement Fund) and SOCSO (Social Security).
And the following, is an example of Singaporean company. We pre-seeded with UEN / ACRA Registration Number and the CSN number needed when making payments to CPF (Retirement Fund).
And an example of a Filipino company. We pre-seeded with the TIN (Tax Identification Number) and the ERNs (Employee Reference Number) for the various government / statutory bodies as well, such as PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG and SSS.
And lastly, an example of a Hong Kong company, with the CR No. (Company Registration Number).
We try to get the pre-seeded localized Company Properties as close to each country as possible - but you - as the expert user - will be the better judge as to what your own company needs. In fact, if you could give us pointers to seed better localized HR policy data - we can just slip in a few free months your way... mmm hmmm...
And remember, you can always add more Company Properties on top of the seeded ones! Just click 'Edit' on the Company Details page, and keep on adding as many new properties as you need. And if you don't need to store certain properties, feel free to delete them off Kitikiti HRM!
And of course, you can always get to the Company Details page by going to Administration > General Configuration > Company Details.
What's next? Well Company Properties is just the first stepping stone. We will build upon this feature to allow the customization of employee pay slip, where certain countries require that certain company details e.g Company Registration Number, or the Company Tax Identification Number - to be on the pay slip document. Coming soon!
We will be more than happy to assist you with your company's setup, and we'll also throw in 2 months of free usage!
No credit card required for signup, and no annoying demo appointment to be set. You get to use it immediately upon signup.
